ABOUT TRANS:MISSION
Our Vision
TRANS:MISSION exists to raise up more gospel workers for the harvest field. We do this by providing training in biblical knowledge, ministry skills, and gospel-shaped character, all rooted in the life of the local church.
We are passionate about strengthening churches across Southern Africa with word ministers who faithfully interpret the Scriptures, clearly proclaim Christ, and wisely shepherd God’s people. Our aim is simple: to equip you for faithful, long-term ministry.
To this end, we partner closely with local churches to identify men and women who want to serve in the local church – some of whom may, over time, move into formal ministry roles. We encourage churches to appoint these men and women as ministry interns, and then come alongside them with intentional mentorship, structured training, and meaningful practical service opportunities within their congregation.

Who We Are
TRANS:MISSION Ministry Training was founded in 2011 as a partnership between like-minded churches in Pretoria and Johannesburg, united by a commitment to every-member word ministry in the local church. What began as a local initiative has grown into a comprehensive ministry training program that equips both current and emerging word ministers through practical, in-service, church-based theological training.

We are committed to seeing ministry interns prepared to serve faithfully and effectively across Southern Africa. We equip men and women with biblical knowledge, ministry skills and Christlike character to lead and teach with integrity and clarity, ensuring they are ready to make a meaningful, lasting impact in their church and community.
Our Facilitators
Our learning community is guided by dedicated facilitators who are pastors themselves with years of practical ministry experience. We also regularly welcome guest lecturers who bring specialized expertise and fresh perspectives, enriching the learning experience from partner churches and organizations.
